THE DESIGNER'S VISION
Matteo Paloni and Davide De Vivo are the founders and creative directors of NTMB — Never Too Much Basic.
Driven by a shared passion for design, street culture, and experimentation, they launched NTMB in 2014 with the vision of redefining denim and upcycling. Starting from vintage garments and existing materials, they developed a distinctive creative language built around reconstruction, research, and the uniqueness of every piece.
Their approach combines craftsmanship and innovation, transforming forgotten materials into garments with strong visual impact and character. Over the years, NTMB has become a reference point for those seeking authentic fashion beyond standardization and mass production.
Inspired by the energy of Naples and the constant evolution of contemporary culture, Matteo and Davide view every creation as an opportunity to tell a new story and challenge conventional ideas of fashion.
Through NTMB, they continue to explore new techniques, materials, and forms of expression, turning transformation itself into a creative philosophy.

A DISTINCTIVE LANGUAGE
NTMB — Never Too Much Basic — is a creative project born in Naples, transforming existing materials into something unexpected.
We believe every garment deserves more than one life. Through a process that combines craftsmanship, experimentation, and contemporary culture, we reclaim vintage denim, discarded fabrics, and forgotten materials, giving them a new purpose.
We don’t start from a blank canvas. We start from a story already written and rewrite it.
Each piece carries traces of its past while evolving into something entirely unique, far removed from mass production. Imperfections become defining details, vintage becomes future, and limitations become creative opportunities.
For us, upcycling is more than sustainability. It is a language, an attitude, and a way of creating.
NTMB exists for those who choose individuality over conformity.
We don’t follow trends. We rebuild them.
